Presence

We pursue God above all else.

Rooted in worship, prayer, Scripture, and the Holy Spirit, we pursue intimacy with God, believing that everything we do flows from His presence.

  • We believe the Bible is God's Word and our ultimate authority, shaping our beliefs, character, and mission.  (2 Timothy 3:16–17, James 1:22)

  • We pursue intimacy with the Holy Spirit, welcoming His presence and pursuing His gifts, power, and fruit, believing they are essential for everyday Christian living and ministry. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Galatians 5:22-25)

  • We make space to seek, encounter, and respond to God through prayer and worship, both personally and together. We offer Him our whole lives in worship and cultivate a lifestyle of dependence upon His presence. (John 4:23–24; Romans 12:1; Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) 

People

We grow disciples and build community.

We believe every person is created, gifted, and called by God, and we are committed to cultivating a church family where people are known, equipped, empowered, and released to follow Jesus.

  • We equip people to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, making and multiplying disciples who help others do the same - everyone, every day, everywhere. (Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 2:2)

  • We celebrate and empower people of every generation, gender, culture, background, and ability, recognising that every person is created in the image of God, gifted by the Holy Spirit, and called to fulfil God's purpose for their life. (Genesis 1:27; Galatians 3:28; Acts 2:17-18)

  • We are a church family where people are known, loved, and encouraged to grow together in Christ. We seek to share life together beyond Sunday gatherings, creating regular opportunities to belong, be formed, and serve alongside one another. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25)

Purpose

We live generously for God's Kingdom mission.

We exist to see lives transformed through the gospel, serving others with generosity and carrying the hope of Jesus to our city, nation, and world.

  • We live for God's Kingdom purposes, seeking His transforming work within us and through us. As followers of Jesus, we are committed to making disciples and sharing the hope of Christ in Lisburn, across Ireland, and to the nations.

  • We seek to live with extravagant generosity, faithfully stewarding our time, talents, and resources for the glory of God and the good of others. We practise the biblical principle of tithing, believing that as we give back to God what is rightfully His, we can trust in His faithful provision.  (2 Corinthians 9:6–8; Proverbs 3:9–10; Acts 20:35)

  • We believe the Kingdom of God is both present and advancing. We pray boldly and expect God to heal, restore, save, and transform lives today. (Matthew 6:10; Luke 4:18-19)
