Elizabeth in Cambodia
Elizabeth lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and serves in a missional organisation with a focus on anti-trafficking. Cambodia is a source, transit and destination country for trafficking with many women and young girls trapped within the sex industry.
Elizabeth is involved with the bar outreach team who go into the red light area of Phnom Penh. Their mission is to spread the gospel to those working in the bars as well as offering a pathway out of this life. This includes identifying minors within these establishments and partnering with other organisations to facilitate their rescue and supporting older women who would like to leave the bars to gain employment elsewhere. Elizabeth has a passion to bring light into the dark places and freedom to the women and girls she encounters.
Zoli and Tanja in Serbia
Zoli and Tanja live in Sombor and are the leaders of Sombor Christian Fellowship, Serbia. They have two young adult daughters, Viktorija and Anastazija.
Serving in full-time ministry, their heart is not simply to run church programmes and preach on Sundays, but to equip believers so the church becomes a living, decentralised disciple-making movement. Their calling centres on relational ministry: walking alongside people, gathering in simple learning communities, and helping believers follow Jesus in daily life. They serve in a region where less than 0.3% of the population attend an evangelical church, and where being an evangelical is often viewed with suspicion. Ministry here is like breaking hard ground, requiring patience, faithfulness, and love. Through genuine friendships and loving and serving their neighbours, they are seeing prejudice soften and lives transformed by the good news that Jesus is Lord.
They are deeply grateful for the prayers and support of brothers and sisters who make this ministry possible.
Bert and Val in the West of Ireland
Val & Bert have been living in North Mayo, West of Ireland for 24 years. They have 2 children living in Dublin and 8 grandchildren. Currently they help lead Harbour Community Church, a Tobar church plant in Ballina, alongside Dave and Cheryl Bailie.
Their passion is to partner with Jesus in seeing his beautiful bride, the church, in the province of Connacht built up. This entails promoting prayer and coming alongside local church leaders, encouraging and supporting them in their challenges.
Twice yearly they facilitate a conference for leaders from churches, Christian ministries and the marketplace coming together focussing on Christ centred unity. This is an expression and exploration of oneness of mind heart and purpose (Phil 2:2) in the Body of Christ in Connacht and its environs.
Counting every day a blessing of God’s grace, Bert & Val’s desire is to see a significant spiritual awakening in the West of Ireland. To live their lives in the power of his presence to the praise of his glory.
Bryan and Ami with Declare International
Bryan Thompson has been a missionary since January 1977. Initially working as a Bible smuggler (into communist Europe), he later served with YWAM Mercy Ships, founded YWAM Dominican Republic (DR), and met and married Amarilis in 1990.
Amarilis, a Dominican, joined YWAM DR in 1988. She serves alongside Bryan having also chosen a calling to the nations.
Together they spent eleven years church planting and pioneering among an unreached nomadic people in the Sahara. After crafting a cross-cultural church planting training used in five nations, founding a podcast, both served as Global Ambassadors with Simply the Story, training Bible storytellers across the world.
Both are "mum and dad” to many around the world, and in 2022, to help foment mission work worldwide, they re-focussed on going to the lost and unreached peoples, using Bible storytelling and making disciples.
When they are not abroad, they are based in Northern Ireland among family and investing in a new church in Tyrone and helping them form missionary vision.
Now, in a “new season”, they want to begin “walking in the nations” often in remote places to better reach the lost.

Gavin and Julie in Gran Canaria
Gavin & Julie live in the south of Gran Canaria where they lead an English-speaking church and ministry. Although English-speaking it is an international ministry to residents and visitors from many different nations.
To most, Gran Canaria is just a holiday island and destination of sun, sea and sand but there is a great spiritual emptiness and need for the good news of Jesus to be shared.
Many relocate there to start a new life in the sun leaving past problems behind but soon realise they have brought the personal problems with them. In addition many of the visitors, although they may be part of a church family back home, find it helpful and easier to talk about issues that they may be embarrassed or afraid to seek advice, help and support with at home.
Gavin & Julie’s desire is to see people’s lives being changed by the grace and love of Jesus.
