Prayer at The Journey Church

Jesus said the words, “My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations” (Mark 11:17)

Prayer is therefore at the centre of all that we do within Journey. We meet at various times and in different expressions to make prayer as accessible as possible for all.

Some of our environments and prayer rhythms are listed below:

Morning Prayer

Gathering to pray in the café, the first Wednesday morning of each month 7:00am-7:45am

Evening Prayer

Gathering bi-weekly in church to pray and worship on a range of issues. We gather from 7:30pm-8:45pm

Gathering Prayer

We gather before church each Sunday from 10-10:20am to pray for the church meeting that morning.

Prayer Walk

We meet at church on the last Friday of each month to prayer walk around our local area from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

24-7 Prayer

Seasonally we will have periods of 24-7 prayer in our prayer room within church.
